March 2009

COMING MARCH 13th

and 14th!

Cara Yeates in
SOME RECKLESS
ABANDON

8pm

“Cara Yeates is a revelation from the beginning to the end!” – CBC.

“With the slightest movement Cara goes from impressionable to
confident to smarmy to elegant as a host of colorful characters.”
-Uptown Magazine

Cara Yeates is Madeleine Cross, barely eighteen, so determined to
ditch her puke-hole prairie town she signs up for “Teenage Jesus Camp”
in Honduras. The truth: she doesn’t know where Honduras is before they
send the plane ticket in the mail. A creepy preacher, saccharine
missionary lady and the Teenage Jesus Fanclub all try their best to
save her. But there is inevitable trouble in Paradise. Written by UVic
Alum Leah Bailly and directed by Lori Triolo, Some Reckless Abandon is
a one-woman tour de force, recalling first departures and teen-love,
taking audiences deep into the missionary culture.
